World of Guns: VR

That's how much the "Developer" is trying to scam PC gamers out of if they want to buy this "free" game. Whenever developers abuse the "free" part of Steam with deliberately misleading, utterly toxic prices, to harm gamers for the sake of their own greed, that really harshes my mellow. What do you do in the game? Not much. This is more of a showcase/tech demo for Americans to play with virtual representations of their big boy toys. There's some shooting range minigames, very badly done, with wonky controls, but mostly this is just a barebones attempt to scam gamers by paygating everything possible. Disgusting. The graphics aren't great, the gun models are passable but everything else, the shooting range minigames etc are just placeholder/minimum viable product stuff, you'd…

I understand that making a true VR setup can be very labour intensive, and I really appreciate all the work the standard game has done so far. However, this VR version is just very underwhelming for what people expected it to be. I, for one, expect this to be a truly VR environment, where you can at least walk around a giant model and operate it, and hopefully able to pick up some of the models and try it out in the virtual ranges. But no, as stated in many other reviews, this is simply the desktop version projected in your VR headset as if the standard version is streamed via links, with the addition of a VR laser pointer replacing your mouse pointer. Navigating around the model is like turning planes in real life -- you have to roll and pull/push, with the addition of you only have one hand to do it. [b]Or simply put it, you might expect this to be like Tony Stark's hologram workbench, but this is in fact a projector in VR headset, not even having the commonly used touch screen gestures.[/b] For a free game. I probably shouldnt complain about this, but maybe make a true VR version and I will gladly pay for it.

Игра World of Guns: VR - это потрясающий опыт для любителей оружия и техники! Детализация моделей просто невероятная, можно разбирать и собирать оружие до мельчайших деталей, изучая каждый механизм. Ощущение присутствия в виртуальном тире добавляет реализма, особенно когда учишься стрелять из разных видов оружия. Поначалу это может показаться сложным, особенно с большим количеством деталей, но обучение хорошо построено и постепенно вводит в курс дела. Возможность замедлить время и рассмотреть все под лупой очень помогает. Единственный минус - это хотелось бы больше режимов, чем просто разборка/сборка и стрельба. Было бы здорово увидеть интерактивные сценарии или исторические битвы. Тем не менее, даже в текущем виде игра стоит своих денег для тех, кто хочет досконально изучить устройство огнестрела и получить уникальный VR-экспириенс. Рекомендую!

Real a*****e design. They sell the game on Steam, but don't support Valve Index. And this information is only available on the forum in a thread from 2019, but not on the game sales page. I bought the game a few months ago, only today I found time to play, and then it turned out that I just can’t. Of course It's too late for a refund. Stop selling s**t to people.
