When I played this a few years ago, I didn’t yet realize how bad this game actually is. When I came back to replay it now, six years after its release, I honestly couldn’t believe something like this was ever published. You encounter bugs at every turn. The game used to crash very frequently on my previous computer (now that I’ve returned to it on a new one, it hasn’t crashed even once). My favorite bug is that sometimes during cutscenes the FPS would unlock to 60 even though they were always capped at 30, and then in the menu the game would run at 30 FPS. I painfully made it through the entire MyPlayer mode and both the acting and the story are on a terrible level. It’s also worth pointing out how ugly this game looks. Some shots look worse than games released before 2010. If only the wrestlers had at least been created with proper detail. But unfortunately, they also look awful. A game that launched at a full AAA price and doesn’t even deserve attention for free.
