The game offers tons of retro gaming charm and nifty game design. The pixel art graphics look astonishing at times. The action feels top notch. It's one of the most sophisticated reimagined retro games I've ever seen and played ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There are 18 levels in the game and there is a boss fight at every 6th level. I've reached the second boss and can't defeat him just yet. And I practiced beating up to level 6 on average and expert difficulty when only the demo was available. So, I spend a fair amount of time with the game before I wrote this review on release day3 found this helpful
Knightmare X Hydlide/Tower of Druaga! It may look like a straightforward shmup but in reality it's a mix of adventure and shooting! Finding secrets and understanding the games' tricks is essential Don't dodge harder, dodge smarter! I soon learnt that very quickly. It's proving to be a very interesting game that's both arcade immediate and filled with secrets and strategy like a puzzle. Works great on Steam Deck!2 found this helpful
I've only just started playing, but it already feels strangely nostalgic and incredibly fun. :D The 8bitDo SFC30 Gamepad fits perfectly for this. I'm planning to really take my time and enjoy it over the weekend.1 found this helpful
