Many books have been written about the Caribbean basin and many films have depicted it.
Now you have a unique chance to visit these places yourself and personally witness the everyday life of drug-dealers, bandits and the Mafioso. White gold. is a sprawling and unapologetically rough open-world shooter that attempts to fuse first-person combat, role-playing progression, and sandbox exploration into a single, ambitious experience. Developed by Deep Shadows and published by GFI, the game places scale and player freedom above polish, offering a vast tropical setting where missions, factions, and systemic chaos intersect in ways that are often intriguing, occasionally frustrating, and sometimes unintentionally memorable. It is a title that clearly aims high, even if it frequently stumbles in execution. The narrative frames the experience through the eyes of Saul Meyers, a former soldier drawn into a dangerous investigation involving a mysterious and deadly drug spreading across international borders. His journey leads him to a chain of Caribbean islands riddled with corruption, criminal organizations, insurgents, and opportunistic mercenaries. The story unfolds through factional politics and morally murky assignments rather than a tightly scripted plot, giving players the sense that they are navigating a volatile region rather than following a traditional hero’s journey. Upon starting the game the first words you are graced with is Pharrell William's (of hit singles: "Get Lucky" & "Happy" fame) angelic voice singing the phrase "Soundin' like strippers to me!" In this world of infinite uncertainty knowing that mantra is always waiting for me whenever I boot up the game is a much appreciated respite.
VERY BUGGY!!!!!!!!! BUT, FUN!!!!!!!!
Very fun game although sound is not perfect. Lots to do and the graphics are ok! Find it cheap and buy!
How the ♥♥♥♥ the pirated version is running smoother than this. I am so disappointed. Played this game when I was a kid, now I can't even start it. Dont buy it, just download it for free
