Corsairs Legacy - Pirate Action RPG & Sea Battles

One thing I’m still missing is female characters. I’d really like to see more interactions and social mechanics involving women in the game world, such as brothels or similar locations that fit the historical setting. Games like GTA included optional side activities like this, and I think having more mature role-playing mechanics would make the world feel more alive and believable. Right now, the world feels a bit too focused on male characters, and I’d love to see more variety in future updates. Overall, though, I think the game is fantastic and I’m really enjoying it.

It would be great if the developers could respond to community feedback more often. I’ve already submitted around six reports and suggestions. I really appreciated receiving the pistol as a gift—that was a nice surprise. At the same time, I’d love to see faster responses to player feedback and more of the suggested improvements making their way into the game. Overall, though, the project has a lot of potential, and I’m genuinely enjoying the gameplay.

There's an old game called sea dogs: city of abandoned ships, previously age of pirates 2 but renamed because of the disney movie. It's on steam, it's legendary, you should buy it. Unfortunately both the graphics and the controls are quite rough, but it's worth it to look past that. Corsair's legacy is an EA game trying to replicate that game in a modern engine. It looks and plays beautifully. It's missing some functionality, but they're a small studio just slowly working away to get it better. I consider buying the game to be like contributing to a kickstarter. This could be really good, and I want it to succeed.

The only thing I don’t really like is the color palette. The white haze or fog looks a bit strange to me and doesn’t quite fit the game. I think it would be worth experimenting with different color grading, because with a slightly better color palette the game could look much more polished and premium. Overall though, it’s a really cool game with fun mechanics, and I’m enjoying it a lot. Thank you!

Overall, I really enjoy the game. The melee combat could use some polishing, and the main character’s facial animations still feel a little rough. However, if those issues are improved, I think the game will become even stronger. The naval gameplay is definitely the highlight of the experience—it’s the game’s biggest strength. It would be great to see the land gameplay eventually reach the same level of quality. If that happens, I think the game will truly shine.
