Alexander Nevsky, the famous defender of ancient Rus' western borders, is long gone, and the knights of the Teutonic Order are again marching to Pskov, a gem of the Northern Rus'. They are out for easy prey and loot. Dovmont, Prince of Pskov, is the only hope to push out the invaders. Prepare to join his armed force to defend their territory and win fame worthy of the memory of the Grand Prince Alexander! Enjoy historical battles of the Middle Ages as Dovmont leads his troops against German and Livonian knights.

DO NOT BUY THIS. Broken out of the box. This is so busted technically. It looks okay on OBS though on screen about 1/4 of the bottom is outside of the screen. This happens no matter what resolution you pick, 4:3, 16:9, native resolution - it happens all the same. It actually crops more of the screen when you use the 4:3 resolutions for some reason. It is as if the footage of the game is scaled up for some reason and it does not fit the screen. Other people have other issues. Just do not get involved with this one.2 found this helpful

Great game. Very similar to Total War without the strategic layer. The battles are a bit more tactical and less arcadei than Total War but if play T/W you will be able to pick this up and play it pretty much right away. There are a few differences in the UI but you will figure it out pretty quickly. Nothing overly complicated. I really wish this game had been more popular and allowed the series to branch out into different time periods. It would have been a worthy adversary to T/W. Oh well, still very much worth playing and for $5 there's really no reason to wait for a sale. Very underrated and underappreciated.
