What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players widely praise the game as fun and engaging with plenty of content, especially for those who enjoy experimenting with different character types and government systems. Common complaints include frustration with managing frequent rebellions and the game's steep learning curve, with some players feeling overwhelmed by the mechanics, while others note that additional story content seems locked behind DLC purchases.
I have only ever played the base game, but it still has plenty to offer! Very fun, and I would definitely recommend it for folks. It is just the right level of challenge for me. I would like more story events, but that seems to require more DLC, which I may consider in the future!
