YBit is a puzzle platformer taking heavy inspiration from Super Meat Boy or VVVVV, with a story that reminds me of Thomas Was Alone. It is well made, but has its flaws. Pros: -Challenging gameplay that mixes things up -A story that I would like to see more of -XB360 Controller support Cons: -Incredible difficulty spike at level 28. I can't get past this. -I really don't like the main theme. It is a grating tune that repeats far too quickly and gets old really fast. Fortunately, the music changes later on and at least it can be turned off. -No windowed support or resolution support, it will launch at your desktop resolution. I cannot recommend this at full price, but at a sale price it is worth a try. Drop me a note if you can film making it past level 28, I wonder if I am missing something obvious.6 found this helpful
It's your standard 8-bit tough-as-nails platformer. It's not exactly bad but I don't think it's worth investing my time and interest into it. Not to mention the unreadable texts on 4K screen and broken English. If you like torturing yourself with these kind of games, yeah sure maybe. Otherwise, you're better off playing something else3 found this helpful
Horrendous controls, level design, and graphics.2 found this helpful
Great fast paced game, with lots of mecanics and challenging levels. Also great soundtrack :P1 found this helpful
Too difficult for me, but if you like hardcore precision platformers you might like this.
It's just an average platformer, mostly due to weird (or just bad) controls. It would have more appeal as free to play game, but as something you need to pay for... nah, there are better games from this genre for the same price.
