On the surface, You Pilot A Piece Of S***: GAIDEN appears to be a simple two-button sidescrolling shoot 'em up with 10 playable characters, hilarious powerups and tons of action. Upon closer inspection however, one realizes that this is no mere game but instead a deeply metaphorical, spiritual and philosophical study of the human struggle as we navigate the often unpredictable and tempestuous waters of life.
One might ask: “Is it possible to confront the things that confront us? Is there no separation between well-being and space-time?” Perhaps, the answer to that may or may not lie within this "Game".
Journey on, Sweet Pilgrim, as you guide the brown chain through the crossroads of quantum turbulence!

My dream of role-playing as a turd has finally come true! It's an interesting mix of flappy bird and gradius from a gameplay perspective; with one button for jumping and another for shooting. You can also gain extra life by collecting more turds. The variety of enemies and levels slowly change the longer you play as well. BTW Recommend you change your buttons to something other than mouse 1 and 2 or you'll get carpal tunnel!3 found this helpful

a work of outsider-art - this is what indie games are all about. you will for sure get 2 dollars worth of laughs out loud from playing this game. i was impressed, i actually didn't think it would be as polished as it is. and the high score leaderboard thing is the chefs kiss.1 found this helpful
