Your Way is a pure 'no frills' walking simulator. You follow trails through a forest and come upon various points of interest (each with an achievement attached). The sound track consists of relaxing instrumentals with no environmental sounds and no narrative. The forest and sky are rendered in great detail, with lovely views, but there is little to distinguish where you are at any given time. Most of the trails look alike so you just keep moving until you find something. There is no save function which is not an issue since your achievements are retained. After two hours of wandering, I have not figured out how to 'finish' the game for the final achievement. There is a clue in the beginning which I have yet to follow so that will be my next challenge. I would suggest that an 'auto-run' toggle would be a nice addition to this game, as my hand grew weary holding the shift and W keys for the full time I was playing. At times, you can walk through objects (for example, the benches), but the game played without crashing and I never got stuck in an object. I did go 'off trail' and there is a LOT of landscape to wander but not much to see (trees, trees, and more trees!). I'd recommen…

If anything is supposed to happen in this game, it takes forever. The scenery is uncanny and off because the grass/flowers are all 2D and constantly face you. Flowers and grass sprout out of the rock. what little game is here isn't very enjoyable

No narrative and no immersion! Not sure what I'm doing in this world, or what is supposed to be happening here. It's very empty with the same trees, grass, flowers and rock everywhere. I get that the creator wants you to explore your way at your own pace in this big open forest, but there is nothing to see aside from a select few landmarks and nothing in place to direct you to see them. You just sort of wander aimlessly. There is collision for the trees, but not for the landmarks themselves. Why? Why am I clipping through the statue and the bench and anything that isn't a tree? I can see trees blowing in the wind, but there is no wind sound effect. I can go down to the lake, but there is no sound of water at the shore, or while walking through it (forget swimming). There are no foot steps or environmental sound effects period. How is the player supposed to become immersed in your world when you give them nothing to immerse them? There is no weight to my character and you do this weird floaty jump when pressing space bar, which makes movement feel like you are floating rather than walking. The same grass and flowers you see on land are under the water in the lake as well. What's tha…

Music is soothing. Scenery pretty. I have finished the game but am missing a "relax zone". I gone back multiple times without finding it.

Would not recommend. There is virtually nothing to do here. The layout of the world is very disorienting, which makes the one thing there *is* to do, which is find "landmarks," quite difficult to do. The graphics are poor and the game is pretty glitchy. No narrative, no story, no goals. It's literally just walking around.
