Yuletide Legends: Who Framed Santa Claus

I wasnt expecting much from this game, because the most christmas games are more funny than really serious, but this game is pretty nice. Its not really serious, of course but not as bad as i expected. The difficulty is rather easy to normal and the overall feeling of the game is pretty nice. There was no moment where i got the feeling to be laughed at or where i could facepalm myself. The length is also pretty nice for the price. All in all pretty nice. I can recommend it

Overall a pretty decent game. The artwork is gorgeous, the hidden object gameplay is fairly easy and has a generous hint system, and the minigames are simple but fun enough. The voice acting is really amateurish but it has its charm. Not a bad way to kill some time if you want a wholesome Christmas-themed game and get it on sale.

[i]'Tis the season![/i] Yuletide Legends: Who Framed Santa Claus is a gift of it's own. Honestly, even I have been surprised by the execution of this game. Given its release year, it does make sense. 2019 is fairly a newer year of releases for Artifex Mundi (AM), many things has changed since then. The map looks very colorful and nicely done, but at some point in the game, it will start to look too much that it might hurt your eyes. If you're the type to view the map often to teleport between areas, then it might come out as too much for you. The visuals exude its primary theme of Christmas which is definitely a huge plus. It is no wonder why maps in games like these are usually in fewer colors. This applies for the 1st map. On the 2nd map, it wasn't as bad. Music is absolutely phenomenal, I am actually quite obsessed, even with the repetitive state of it. Then again, I may be biased with Christmas-themed music as it sounds comforting and nostalgic. Halfway through the game, some of the scenes feel livelier than usual. The scenes somewhat 'move' as it follows the cursor's movement. This subtle change to the environment breathes life to it. Ridiculously railroaded. You have to pick up objects in a specified order; to give just one example, if you see a black-light bulb, you can't pick it up until you find the fixture that needs a bulb replaced. In general, awkward and frustrating to play. I love hidden-object games, but I gave up on this one three scenes in.

- visuals are nice, I love the art. - purchase the game on sale, or in a bundle, I wouldn't do full price. (Unless you are a die hard fan of these.) - these are NOT challenging puzzles, but still oodles of fun. So cute, so hilarious, and absolutely perfect for the winter season. I played this game with my partner, and we had a fantastic time. It was great doing the puzzles together, and we laughed our butts off with the voice lines and acting. I would certainly recommend it to play by yourself, but especially with loved ones who will laugh and have a good time with you. there is actually a bonus game section, which I was surprised and delighted by, and let's just say there's a section in it with a gingerbread man that made me cry laughing.

Decent Christmas themed find stuff puzzle game. It's short and easy, perfect to get you in the holiday mood without sucking a lot of time or brain cells.
