I like the story and environmental visuals. The performance was good, with only a few barely noticeable slowdowns. I think there is a market for this kind of game. Although, this game could still use some improvements. Other than some UI polish, I would definitely add a speedometer to help sell the sense of speed and a track map with other racer positions. I would also recommend adding some UI elements over the other racers as they can be hard to see when moving that fast. I recommend adding more physics to the movement and letting go of the accelerator and crashing stops you dead. I expected to have some inertia when letting go, bouncing off obstacles, and drifting. Also adding some secondary animations, like a slight hovering or bobbing effect to the ship would be cool. I also really like the ships design. Instead of holding down the boost maybe opt for a tiered type of acceleration, where you start at lower speed but as you accelerate you can shift up to the next speed stage and back down. I was basically holding the turbo the entire time unless I needed to readjust. If your going for a more arcade style of gameplay, I would recommend adding boosts in the form of boost pads…1 found this helpful
