This title has the foundation to be one of the best of its kind! If the grammers keep polishing this gem and keep adding essentials to what they already have accomplished, this has the ability to be labeled one of the classics! In its current state it is playable and fun but with some work it could turn out to be EPIC. Great soundtrack and great design! Please keep working on this title.1 found this helpful
epic music and style, a mix of vampire survivors and topdown shooters like geometry wars. The game is being updated quite frequently so i will leave a full review at a later time1 found this helpful
Guy who has only played Picayune Dreams, playing his second survivors-like: "Getting a lot of 'Picayune Dreams' vibes from this"... [strike]I bought this since they added Picayune as an encounter to the game.[/strike] This game was a pleasant surprise! Honestly, I felt the art style was plain and that it might've given me a bit of a false impression. But I was surprised to realize there was a solid survivor's-like here! Regular maps last around 15 minutes before the boss spawns, and the session is over once the boss is defeated. You pick up XP from defeated enemies, and pick from three upgrades after each level up. The intensity to the challenge in this game is low enough that this game probably makes for a decent game to play with a video on the second screen.
Yeah this game is cool af. It has a lot of ideas I haven't seen in the genre yet, like being able to swap between weapons or buy unique ones from a traveling shop. While the UI has a few readability/usability issues, it's definitely worth giving a try!
