It's not bad, but use of cheats is inevitable due to some levels featuring an unbeatable combination of high difficulty and convolutedness. On their own, each can be beatable. Together, though, is another story.2 found this helpful
Zool was too zoomed in and fast for it's own good, and was a non-linear key hunt (as was the style at the time) that got frustrating fast. This remaster fixes those things, gives you additional play modes, and polishes the presentation. The result is a lot of fun, and worth a shot for any fan of retro platformers.2 found this helpful

It's a good throwback to classic sega / snes platform games. If you're a fan of the game, genre or even looking for nostalgia from that era, it achieves it by being a good port. Music is nice, platforming is quick and responsive, but nothing really compelling if you're not looking for anything referred before.
