✦ AI summary

Wizard with a Gun is a roguelike with cooperative play and crafting mechanics that players find fun and well-made, with good variety in weapons and magic combinations, though most agree it's quite grindy with progression locked behind specific ammo types and research trees. Common complaints include unclear mechanics and balance issues that push players toward similar builds, plus a time mechanic some find frustrating, though the loop of short runs followed by tower progression keeps things engaging.

I gave it a little over 4 hours. I played it with a couple of my daughters (who are also adult gamers these days) and we had fun. I doubt any of us will come back to it because it's more a group thing than a solo thing and it wasn't any of our preferred genre of game.

Time mechanic is awful. Ruins the game.

Whoever has given this a bad review you should quit playing games you suck at life and games. to grindy? yeah no, you just trash. this game is worth the playthrough if you have not played it yet don't listen to the haters with no hand to eye coordination and probably only play AAA games to tell their friends they play them but still aren't good at them. if you don't like roguelike/roguelite with some survival crafting mixed in don't play it, if you actually enjoy well made games and arent just about whats ''hype'' then play it.

Its fun but really grindy. The upgrades are locked behind killing enemies with specific ammo types, so while you can do cool stuff like prime enemies with water rounds to make the electric ones do more damage and zap everyone around, it takes ages to research both trees and you'll spend a lot of time fighting with sub-par ammo just to get its research drops. The gameplay loop of doing short runs in a semi-random world and then returning to the tower to build and research stuff is fun and does help to keep the pace up so you're always making progress outside the occasional death where you drop your loot. Overall would recommend, but probably wait for a sale.

Me diverti mucho jugandolo. Mapas que se renuevan todo el tiempo, una dificultad balanceada para jugadores casuales como yo. Variedad de armas y poderes, infinitas convinaciones posibles. Lo recomiendo mucho

In general I really liked the game and would recommend it to anyone It's very fun to play, has a lot to explore, including more complicated mechanics and a very rich world. Everything is destructible and a lot to interact with. I did find some mechanics either poorly balanced or just not super obvious. From what I read from other people everyone converges to more or less the same build. Which I think is a low point. Also some things are not clear when you don't know how to proceed. Could've been clear, but quick google saves you anyway.
