Short game but I highly recommend it! Took me about 3 hours to complete the storyline with the majority of achievements done. It's like 2D pixel art Powerwash Simulator! I love how you can customise your room with stickers and toys you obtain throughout the game. Perfect on Steam Deck.

Moldwasher is a short but genuinely satisfying cleaning game that I'd happily recommend. Clearing away all the mess feels really satisfying, and the game is a bit more fast paced than I expected, which I ended up liking. New things get introduced at a good pace throughout, so the loop stayed engaging all the way to the end. Each tool feels meaningful and has its own purpose on every level. Only three of them can be upgraded though, while the rest are a single purchase to unlock. The upgrades are noticeable, but fairly minimal. The different kinds of mold are fun to see, but I never really had to tackle them any differently. I didn't expect to run into enemies that keep making more of a mess until you deal with them. That was a nice addition, I just wish they showed up more often. I liked that the whole game takes place in a single room, with each level being a small section of the room or one of its appliances. The pixel art is very nice and creates a really cozy vibe. The different tracks are great, and since CDs are one of the collectibles, you can choose what to listen to as you find more of them along the way instead of having just one track on loop. This is a fantastic and satisfying game! I love the little cleaning mechanics and the pixel art is wonderful! Worth getting al the achievements too!
