[h2]If I were a Rubik's Cube this would be my nightmare.[/h2] Play inside a cube as a cube. This game makes me think that this represents a paradox. A board game inside a Rubik's Cube where another Rubik's Cube is trying to solve a puzzle just to end up inside yet another Rubik's Cube. Kind of like those Russian nesting dolls. I mean it is called "InnerCube". Anyhoo the gameplay is seriously simple and surprisingly addictive. It's easy and difficult at the same time. You basically control a cube that looks like a Rubik's Cube. The top color changes based on where you move to. This is actually one of the better "hidden gem" indie puzzle games out there. InnerCube is a focused puzzle game that turns the simple act of rolling a colored cube into a demanding exercise in spatial awareness and route planning. Developed and published by Schell Games, it avoids unnecessary complexity and instead builds nearly the entire experience around understanding how each movement changes the cube’s orientation. The objective may initially appear straightforward: move across a grid and collect colored tiles by matching them with the correct face of the cube. In practice, however, every roll affects which color faces downward, so reaching a tile is only useful when the cube arrives in the correct orientation. This deceptively simple rule gives InnerCube much of its challenge and personality. The Puzzle Mode forms the main attraction, offering 105 stages divided among seven sectors. Each level asks players to determine an effective sequence of movements while keeping track of both position and rotation. A direct route across the board is not necessarily the correct route because approaching a colored tile from the wrong direction can leave an incompatible face underneath the cube. I think this game is worth a remake to be able play with others so can see how many moves it took for each person to complete the levels. I know this game been out for some years it has some potential to find a new fan base look at me just discovering at 42 in the 2025. Among us didn't get popular until the covid pandemic hit but was out for 2 years before things shutdown. I can see people creating teams to play game on slip screen or co coop etc . But change nothing about the game maybe give it controller support.

Kinda fun but not being able to see the other half of the cube kinda ruined the experience for me

Outstanding logic game! Highly recommend!! I'd like to make a correction to one reviewer comment (the rest of his comments are excellent) which stated: "There's more than strict puzzles here, the game has its own survival mode where colored tiles keep appearing on a big grid. The tiles keep appearing and soon you'll be restricted and stuck without a move to make. This mode has a bomb that will go off if you take too long, but the problem I ran into is you can get stuck long before the bomb goes off. In fact I think there might be a glitch with the bomb. The timer stops being a threat at all. So I ended up stuck with only the menu to quit the mode as my only salvation." Actually, the bombs are there to help you. Once you collect one (by landing on it), it remains in your arsenal until you want to use it. Simply move your cube to a congested area, press the space bar, and all surrounding, adjacent obstructions are destroyed. I find it hard to progress in Survival Mode without a judicious us of the bombs. Enjoy!
