Fantastic game concept and something I wanted to get into. Visuals and controllers made me physically queezy which is such a shame.
"Although you may be truth, I no longer believe that means anything for us."
Flux Empyrean is a spectacular walksim/puzzle game with really intriguing lore. You've got your boat, some easy-to-use tools, and a world worth sailing every inch of. If I weren't into sailing and all that, I'd give this game a solid 8.9/10 — but sailing is something I'm really in love with, so it's a 9.3/10 for me. If you enjoyed metroidbrainias (I hate using that term) like Blue Prince or Outer Wilds, I recommend you play this masterpiece, though it may feel much slower than either of them. Even though I called it a masterpiece, why are some points missing from its score? It's simple: the game lacks responsiveness and handholding. It lacks responsiveness because most of my time with the puzzles was spent asking "Did I do it?", "Is this the answer?", "Did something different just happen?" Luckily this could be fixed with clearer animations or better sound design, especially SFX. Then what about handholding? There are some puzzles you can solve entirely on the island they belong to. Those are nice. Simple or not, you can finish them and collect whatever the reward is. And then there are…

Enjoyed the overall experience, althugh some of the puzzles can feel a bit obtuse. That said, after spending enough time comprehending everything you're given, even the more obscure puzzles can be intuited.

if you think outer wilds was too short and easy go ahead

Probably the best mashup of Mirror Moon and Paradise Killer. It's hard to say at this point.
