The GOAT. One of my favourite games of all time. Making a resurgence today as the collective soul of the West pines for those days gone by when we built beauty, were proud of ourselves, made art that celebrated the divine, made music to glorify something higher. The city of Dunwall captures the last vestiges of the Glasgow and Edinburgh of my youth. The artists went there to sketch the prototypes that would make the fictional city. Britain as it was, lost forever, yet you might catch a glimmer of it in this masterpiece. A story of honour, redemption and justice. 10/10.
I have a soft spot for stealth elements and creative problem solving, and Dishonored manages to excel at both. As Corvo, you embark on a quest to clear your name and punish the shadowy cabal looking to overthrow the local government. And you can do so as peacefully or as violently as you please! The chaos system is fun take on morality: there's no inherent good or bad choices, just choices that influence the state of the world. Violence is easy, but can make the environment more dangerous. Pacificism is much harder, but in turn makes navigating the work easier. Moreover, the choices you make don't necessarily swing the world state to either extreme. It takes consistent behavior, meaning slipping here or there is not going to ruin your playthrough. Plenty of tools and abilities to use to help you overcome just about every obstacle in the game. The powers especially are fun to play with, from teleporting to slowing time to morphing into a little rat to take a shortcut through a building. You can prioritize the upgrades that suit your playstyle best, which does help give some replay value as you experiment with other styles of play. I can't say I have much in the way of criti…
This has been my favourite game since I played it over 10 years ago. this is not a game you can only play once. you can play it so many different ways.

One of the best games ever made. Got all the achievements except for the Trials DLC. One of the rare games that I would rate 10/10
