✦ AI summary

Save Room - Organization Puzzle takes the item management system from Resident Evil 4 and expands it into a puzzle game that players find satisfying and fun, particularly those nostalgic for RE4's briefcase tetris mechanics. The main criticisms are that it's quite short (around 90 minutes to 40 puzzles), relies too heavily on busywork rather than clever puzzle design, and lacks some quality-of-life features from the original game.

Not recommended Aug 28, 2026
If you're looking for a love letter to RE4, then I recommend the inspired (and completely free-to-download) 'RE4 Otome Edition' instead. As for this game, it was cute, but it's basically a 90-minute patchwork game with a few extra-cumbersome steps. The idea of having to use up some of the health items in order to clear more space is cool, but there's only a few puzzles that clever use of it, and the rest of the time it's just busywork. Same goes for the idea of loading weapons, aside from a single puzzle where this is the exception. The game also is missing the ability to swap the item you're holding with the item directly underneath it (I don't know why it's not here, since it's a feature that even the original RE4 had). As for RE references and in-jokes, there's basically only one; the 'Broken Butterfly' has been renamed to the 'Fixed Butterfly.'

It's just so good. I can't stop laughing at the dramatic voice that says "SAVE ROOM" which really lets you know these residents are about to turn evil. Nice and short. I'll never understand you guys who want any game to be infinite in length and variety.

If you played RE4, you'd know the satisfaction of managing to get everything to fit in the inventory. Imagine that but as a puzzle game. It's simple; the game gives you some items and says "make it fit". For 40 levels, I'd say $4.50 AUD is a fair price for a satisfying puzzle game like this.

Short inventory management game. It's supposed to be like resident evil 4. Pretty decent
