Help a disgraced clown hug strangers, solve puzzles, and uncover dark secrets across an open world as he seeks redemption after a tragic fire. This unconventional point-and-click adventure strips away text dialogue for visual communication and lets you explore at your own pace, talking to animals and spreading kindness to unravel the mysteries of Dropsy's past.
Dropsy is a non-traditional take on the classic point and click adventure formula starring the game's perpetually carefree namesake clown as he explores a richly detailed world full of colorful characters and sinister secrets, doling out hugs along the way. Rather than lead players on a singular narrative path, players are free to determine which avenues of adventure they want to explore in an open world setting and can piece the puzzles together at their own pace.

Dropsy is a charming point-and-click adventure that players praise for its lovable characters, heartwarming narrative about acceptance, and surprisingly layered storytelling that makes it genuinely fun to play through. The main criticisms center on tedious backtracking and navigation, some technical issues with achievements and occasional freezing, and puzzles that are serviceable but not particularly clever. Most players seem to feel it's worth experiencing for its character-driven story and emotional appeal, though the technical quirks and repetitive traversal may test patience.
The ending froze during the credits, and achievements are bugged. Beyond that, the game is OK. It has charm but no wit. The puzzles aren't terrible, but also not clever. The plot is predictable.1 found this helpful
A fun unconventional point & click adventure with surprisingly many layers. Traversing and backtracking felt a bit tedious, but I got used to it, as well as navigating the map. The achievements are a bit wonky, but they all unlock. Most of them only react upon restarting the game or going back into main menu, some only at the very end of the game. For two, it required a new game, even though I already performed the necessary actions (they were both not tied to the game progress, so I could instantly go after them after the start).
A game of about acceptance and winning over people.
This is the kind of game I wish I could completely wipe from my memory just so I could play it again. The characters and narrative are so lovable. I had an absolute blast playing it!
