The game starts by acknowledging that it's a homage to the old classics, so if you're a fan of them or old enough to have played them when they first came out, you'll already know what to expect. That said, there are still a few twists that make it feel more suited to modern audiences. What you need to do is familiar to anyone who's ever been interested in video games. You control a ship at the bottom of the screen and fire at an alien army descending from the top. The aliens move from side to side, changing direction whenever they reach the edge of the screen. Pretty fun game! I really enjoyed getting to experience a retro-style game, definitely worth trying if you're into retro games, or would like some nostalgia!4 found this helpful
Very Nostalgic vibe to the game and enjoyable4 found this helpful
Old school retro shooter, very challenging, would definitely be seen as "quarter/token gobbler" if it were an arcade cabinet. Nostalgic and fun. Got some quirks and minor jank (I'm sure will be fixed in time) but overall a fun retro "shoot'em up" or "shmup". Has many modes to unlock, haven't unlocked many, so still working on it. Transparency: I did some QA on the game, but I bought my own copy. And my opinions are honest and truthful. Everything I like and disliked I told the dev during my limited QA sessions.2 found this helpful
