Moves will have bad hitboxes or no distance to cover combos, and sometimes enemies will break out of combos or summon supers out of nowhere

I'm loving it! The novelty may eventually wear off, but I'll have gotten my money's worth several times over by then. It's all about choices. "Yes, I've got the perfect setup right now, but to beat that Act 3 boss I'm probably going to want higher level moves even if they're not the ideal moves assigned to the ideal buttons. And I really don't want to get rid of that Life Steal!" In this game you don't have to grind to open up new moves and armor; it's offered to you after every fight. It eases you in and gives you time to build up your skill and your move set before getting serious. Whether you want to try to projectile spam your way to victory or work on stringing together combos is up to you, but you may encounter upgrades along the way that tempt you to compromise your strategy. Any character can have any build (in time) -- which I love. I'm not going to get stuck with a personality I don't care for to play a move set I like. I can imagine a lot of potential for new modes in the future. But it's definitely a keeper as is. Thank you!

I'm trash at fighting games and rarely play them but this game slaps. It still mostly plays like how a traditional fighting game does, but with more simplified controls. You can get some really busted synergies that are tons of fun. Would love to see what kind of more roguelike abilities it could be bring in the future and maybe even some new game modes.

A solid roguelike and a plethora of nods to the fgc.

Really rough state, needed more time to cook. Cannot recommend as is. Will come back to this later and recommend if it gets better. It's smoother than the demo by a lot so I'm sure the devs can do it.
