Kingdom Come: Deliverance

I'm playing the game for the first time in 2026, and here's what I have to say (I haven't finished the game yet): 1) really nice story 2) nice environment and vibe 3) for me personally, the game has a lot of issues in terms of performance at the start, the cutscenes were a mess, I was getting 15fps, I fixed it by turning off v-sync; in one mission where things get pretty chaotic, I was barely getting 58fps, and it makes the gameplay hard to handle, I can't even manage the combat 4) the combat feels like it was designed more for PS/consoles in general, since on PC it's pretty broken, especially when there are a lot of people around. Overall, I like the game, but I don't know if I'll finish it because of the serious performance issues (it's not my PC's fault, since I can run full 2026 games at 2K resolution with 80-90fps)

Graphics, amazing for the year and actual gameplay possibly brilliant.....BUT!!!! Utterly terrible, terrible, terrible story. Can only have been written by a five year old. You have to work your way through countless absurd and quite frankly stupid tasks, to actually play the game properly. I just wish game designers didn't force people down a rabbit hole of stupid tasks, made harder with pathetic controls. And now the controls, well, I have never played a game with such clunky and incompetent controls. Seriously, all that effort to get the graphics and possibly the greatest open game, literally shot in the foot by a morons idea of controls.

Has that classic RPG feel like Obivion, Skyrim or Fallout. The combat takes some getting used to but this series has a worthwhile story that is genuinely interesting and keeps you wanting to play.

If you can get past the slow and frankly clunky introduction and really sink your teeth into this game, then yes! It's got a very rich world with interesting characters, great music, a decent story, and honestly the combat gets really fun once you level up and begin to master it. Think of the game as a journey for both you and for Henry. You both need to level up, you both need to learn, you both need to train.
