HELLDIVERS™ Dive Harder Edition

Waow Helldivers is so fun and awesome and I love it so much. It's a wonderful merging of a TON of genres, and it being a top-down shooter works to enhance everything as well. Even though progression will get stale after around level 20, at that point you probably won't even care since the game is so fun. Hot take, but this game is as good, if not better than Helldivers 2. In fact, calling this "Helldivers 1" is, in my opinion, very wrong. They are completely different. HELLDIVERS is a top-down shooter, and by having a shared screen it forces teamwork more. This focus on player cooperation and coordination is what makes it, in my opinion, better than its successor. The commending and reporting system also encourages people to play nice with one another, even if only a little bit. The weapons and stratagems, unlike in Helldivers 2, are very poorly balanced (see the LAS-13 Trident), but because the game is focused on coordination, and not competition, it's fine that some weapons are better than others. It's downfall comes when outside of the missions. The progression system is only okay, and many weapons and stratagems are only available through paid DLC. Other aspects of the game …

This game is dead, playing alone is painful as hell if you have friend maybe you can try but if you don't have any this is boring game and hard to play

Love the game it sucks that the player base is small but is still a very good game.

Yes, i love this game so much, if your computer is a potato and cant run helldivers 2 like mine, then this game is PERFECT, in my opinion and from what ive seen about the gameplay of helldivers 2, the only difference between this game and HD2 is its 100 years in the past and a top down view
