Hi-Fi RUSH

[b]Hi-Fi Rush is not only an exceptional videogame, but also one of the most memorable experiences I've had in recent memory. Its soundtrack and visuals are truly beautiful, its story and characters are charming, and its gameplay is challenging, fun, and genuinely unique. If you love hack-and-slash action-adventure videogames with a musical twist, you're going to love it. I wish I could erase my memory just to experience this masterpiece again. This is a perfect videogame.[/b] First of all, let's talk about the artistic direction, which I find absolutely beautiful. The characters are very well developed, and while their motivations are clear and simple, the execution of the story works so well that you end up caring about all of them. Their interactions carry much of the experience, and you simply fall in love with their stories, especially Peppermint's. Their designs and voice acting are also impeccable. The environments have a cartoony, cel-shaded style reminiscent of early 2000s videogames like Jet Set Radio Future or The Wind Waker, and to me, that adds even more uniqueness to the whole package. The writing is typical millenial slop, the characters are boring and the story is about as generic as it's possible to get but the gameplay, music and visuals are fantastic.

Fun and funny

the OST is amazing by itself but there's a certain song for the boss battle in Chapter 9 that made it clear for me i had made an amazing purchase with this game, besides the incredible combat mechanics, great characters, original story and fun gameplay loop; please make Hi Fi Rush 2 happen, this game is a 10/10
