On the coast of a distant land lies the castle town of Fortuna. It is here that the group known as the Order of the Sword practices a mysterious religion. They revere the demon warrior Sparda, who as their god fought to protect humans, and are committed to the extermination of all demons. Nero, a young knight from the Order, is tasked with finding Dante, the mysterious assassin who murdered the head of the Order of the Sword. At the same time, more demons begin to appear throughout the city. Nero will soon come to discover the motives behind Dante's appearance and the truth behind the intentions of the Order of the Sword.

The game is great and a direct upgrade to dmc3. Unfortunately, Capcom forgot that in order to play a game, you have to open it. You have to search on internet and download an external program, following a guide just to play the game. The game is really good but I can't recommend a game you can't open by default.1 found this helpful

I don't usually write reviews, but this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ port actually pissed me off. I love capcom games, but they cannot get away this. I really like DMC 4, but this port is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dooo dooo plz fix this ♥♥♥♥ capcom. I don't need a remake, I just want this port to work brooo.
Good game, but Sanctus can go to hell. Overall it's fun, but takes some using to after coming off of DMC 1 and 3. Super annoying enemy design and an entirely different flow of combat that you have to readjust to, but once you do you can truly appreeciate the game for what it is.
