Darksiders III Review Darksiders III turned out to be a pretty enjoyable experience for me. The graphics still look beautiful, especially the environments and overall atmosphere. The story, however, is nothing too amazing or memorable, but it was good enough to keep me playing until the end. While playing, I kept getting reminded of Remnant: From the Ashes. The overall atmosphere and some of the environments gave me a similar feeling, especially the way you travel through different areas and eventually face bosses. Because of that, some parts of Darksiders III felt a little bit like a copy of ideas I've seen in Remnant, although the games are obviously quite different in terms of gameplay. Still, despite that feeling, I genuinely enjoyed Darksiders III. The game does have some bugs and technical issues, but thankfully, I didn't encounter anything too serious or game-breaking during my playthrough. One thing I really liked was the *grinding/progression system. If you actually take your time to explore, collect resources, upgrade your character, and grind a little, I think you can get much more fun out of the game. Personally, I didn't do much grinding and mostly focused on prog…

5.5/10 I beat the game on Apocalpyse difficulty but damn the game is quite boring and the bosses are alright nothing crazy. The games story is just unbearable to listen to especially the talking between Watcher and Fury. The cutscenes are boring and quite miserable making you want to skip them all eventually when your patience runs thin but I prevailed and didn't skip any but I did start skipping non cutscene dialogue. The soundtrack is all pretty meh. The gameplay is alright nothing special there. Equipment doesn't really provide any crazy bonuses it's all practically the same which is disappointing because Darksiders 2 had much more choices in terms of items you could equip and combine either to go crit or tanky or etc. When leveling the selection of stats is quite disappointing its either damage or life and also there is arcane damage which is practically useless since you rarely go into Havoc form making the game just a dodge/default attack simulator because there is no skills which is wild because Darksiders 2 had a vast selection of skills you could select. Also there is no puzzles like Darksiders 2. If you're trying to play the entire series of Darksiders then you should giv…

I bear the completionist curse, so I’ll probably 100% it eventually, but this game is hot garbage. It crashed three times, and I even hit a broken Kraken state where I couldn’t damage its eyes, while it also refused to move, so I couldn’t get past it. I loved Darksiders 1 and 2 and have replayed them multiple times on Steam and other platforms. Whoever made this should be kept far away from Darksiders 4.

I recently played through all 3 games and I thoroughly enjoyed this video game! The first one was an average hack n slash adventure with a good setting and interesting story to keep me hooked. The second game was a pleasant surprise after coming from the first, the RPG aspects were such a breath of fresh air and added so much depth. After 10 hours though I was already tired of the same puzzles being recycled and had enough which definitely soured my overall experience. I kept with it for the story and was satisfied. The third game was also another surprise seeing it turned into a "souls-like" the first few hours felt fresh again and wasn't overwhelmed by repetitive puzzles. The exploration mechanic tied to her forms which I thought was super cool. Fury is a likeable protagonist, sadly her story wasn't as fleshed out as it could be but I respect how they tried with the constraints and everything that happened and was made possible for this game to be made, It's not a perfect game, but it's a fun game and I love the lore, stories and settings of all 3 games. Anybody who is interested in this game, I would highly recommend you play through all 3! (you can get them all on sale for …
