✦ AI summary

Operation: Tango is a co-op puzzle game where players control an Agent and Hacker in tandem, with reviewers praising the charming art style, clever puzzle design, and the way both roles feel essential to missions. However, players consistently note that the game suffers from bugs that can prevent progression, lacks difficulty progression throughout its short campaign, and reuses minigames without meaningful iteration. Most reviewers suggest it's worth checking out for co-op enthusiasts, though some feel the lack of challenge and repetitive gameplay limit its appeal.

A lot of co-op fun to be had, though often gets buggy after fail states. The challenges are a lot of fun, so definitely check them out after beating the story. The art style is charming and the levels are beautiful (as the Agent), but if you only play as the Hacker you're missing out (it's a short game, so I played both). Worth checking out if you're into co-op games.

It's a well done co-op puzzle game, with both sides feeling crucial in each mission. There are some parts where one agent is favoured more heavily than the other, and the game can sometimes glitch out and prevent you from progresing correctly, but not often enough to completely ruin the game. Definitely worth giving this a shot!

Most of the recent reviews for this game seem to be hounding on the game for server issues and bugs that made the game unplayable. I didn't have any of those moments, but ended up disliking the game anyway. The game makes a good impression with the first mission, being mindlessly easy but having enough novel minigames to be neat. However, the game never really iterates or gets more involved from anything it shows in the first mission. A lot of minigames and gimmicks are reused from the first two stages, and none of them are interesting enough to merit being mainstays. However, the difficulty curve is really the killer here. It doesn't exist. The game remains exactly as easy as it was in the first stage, and never begins to expect anything of you. At one point in the fifth stage, I *almost* thought things were starting to get better, as me and my partner actually got stuck on a puzzle for a little bit, but the moment this happens the game starts waving its hint system in your face. The game feels so pathetically afraid of having the player experience any tiny morsel of friction that it never manages to actually do something impressive with the gameplay. Also, that puzzle wasn't actu…
