Bionic Dues

This game is too much for my pee wee brain. But I had fun while getting destroyed each time.

After many years, I keep coming back to this game. Well designed mechanisms. Now I finished my ironman expert run with random Exos, I ended up with a worksheet that calculates [spoiler]the total damage of overload before an enemy can come around the corner[/spoiler]. I like the options to self-impose handicaps to customize my challenge while keeping the fun part. On high difficulty random expo, no single strategy wins you the game. You have to improvise and have a backup plan when ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan.

I finally got it! I found the right difficulty settings and suddenly all the game-play emerged and it was great,

Badly programmed AI warbots have, despite being fundamentally idiots, nearly wiped out humanity. Tweak, upgrade, tinker, and futz with your robot buddies and take the fight to the bad 'bots in classic turn-based, simultaneous movement maps in this roguelike upgrade-em-up. A little clunky (why four robots that you can swap between freely instead of one do-it-all bot?), but lots of fun!

Bionic dues is sooooooooooooo boring

I had a fun time playing it. The game is repetative, the upgrade system is fun but not perfect the enemys are way to easy on casual, way to hard on normal. Not in an HARD way more in a time wasting taking lots of time to destroy a bot or such way. In generall the game is fun but then you came to a point where you saw evrything and did evrything and progressing feels just like repeating the same over and over. thats the point where i lost my hype that ill had from the second minute and changed my mood to well, its not bad but its not that awesome either. you can get it on sale! you can have fun and enjoy the core mechanics for a while the music is fun the visuals are okay.
