In a normal game, when your crew becomes too crowded, you simply say goodbye and move on. In this game, however, you’re forced to send them to the war front lines and watch them get injured and slowly die while gaining barely useful buffs. There’s no way to help them — the moment you dismiss a crew member from the secret ops team, you’re essentially sentencing them to a slow, painful death. It’s one of the most disturbing mechanics and narratives I’ve ever seen.19 found this helpful
Darkest Dungeon if it was a guerrilla warfare game with many classes where you loot and have choices to better or worsen the world around you towards your revolutionary goal. MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF RNG SERIOUSLY, but in a good way. Alot of resource management, If there will ever be a Home Behind 3 please have a bigger map... The best parts of this game is searching buildings for some reason, I like stealing things6 found this helpful
The game contains a lot of mandatory dialogue and text, which may not appeal to everyone. Personally, I felt that the pacing suffered because the story content often took focus away from the gameplay. While the gameplay itself seems solid, it can be difficult to fully appreciate beneath the large amount of dialogue and exposition. If you enjoy story-heavy games with plenty of reading, there's likely a good experience here. However, players looking for a more gameplay-focused experience may find it harder to get into.3 found this helpful

I really enjoyed the first game on my phone so I took a chance to check this one out...wow. Has that Darkest Dungeon 1 vibe, very difficult yet it's addicting with it's roguelike progression. The story is actually the one of the better parts of this one. As of 2026 it's kind of realistic and people today should be able to relate in some form or fashion. Banan is a great character lead and her mission is one that most of us can see going on today The many classes and builds are really good, nice survival elements, great combat and lots of weapons and gear to loot. Criminally underrated
not bad
