Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure

This is tough, as it's the only other Scribblenauts game on Steam you can buy. Definitionally, it is more Scribblenauts, but if you want more GOOD Scribblenauts, you'll have to look elsewhere. Moving away from doing sub-missions for Starite Shards, you now have worlds filled with procedurally generated missions that randomly spawn in, which you do for currency to open other gated worlds. Right away, this was a big mistake, as no worlds feel carefully crafted and more like a bunch of toys out of a toybox were randomly dumped onto the floor. Uninspired, lazy and lame. What doesn't help is the DC elephant in the room, as the game trades the real world for superheroes. The superhero element surprisingly subtracts from the experience, removing relatable, down to Earth comedic moments (especially when you were solving situations by any means necessary). In exchange, we now have a game that sometimes feels like it takes itself a little too seriously, with characters whose intellectual property must be protected at all costs. Game is bugged and literally crashes at the very beginning. The 40 minutes you see is just me trying to make it start without crashing

80% of the game is cutscenes, if you loose you have to wait through allllll the cutscenes you can only skip the dialogue portions, the rest are "challenges" that are super vague and things that should work but don't, even the first game wasn't this bad, the only good thing about this game is the niche dc stuff.

A Scribblenauts that featuring heroes and villains from DC comic universe. You are going to travel through different places, help citizens and heroes solve their problem, help them defeat villains and get Starite until you can back home. You can also learn these hero's origin stories. However, compare to Scribblenauts Unlimited, this one lacks many of feature and amount of playable stages, makes it something feels like a unfinished game with only DC comic characters as sell point and only have half of playing time lifespan. Still, it is acceptable if you liked Scribblenauts, just not expect it will be as good as Unlimited.
