Want to like it... but the development team was lazy & didn't treat the product with respect. Controls are completely screwed... seemingly no wau to quit... at least on the 1st level, dialogue ractions don't work, controls are give in some carppy console prompt, controls aren't remapable. Whoever was the manager of this project should be ashamed of themselves.5 found this helpful

Game does not start. It sits frozen with 9.8 MB in the RAM. Disabling HDR and disable full-screen optimizations does nothing.1 found this helpful
It's a classic Mecha with a timeless art style, I strongly advice you to play it with a controler. Dont be deceived, its still a challenge regardless of the difficulty you set up. Always pay attention to ADA comments about how to deal with certain events. To be honest Jehuty (your Mecha) fells more alive like a dragon ball character rather than a machine. Boss dynamics are also similar to those of a fighting game in a 3D enviroment. Some of the side weapons are tricky to use and GRAB seams to be a more viable choice. The only way to heal your mecha is keep killing enemies and hope one of them drops 'Metatron', ADA your AI companion will comment once you collect it along with a silver glow on your Mecha. The background sounds will keep you from closing the game, they perfectly fit each part of the game along with each shot from both your mecha and the nearby enemies. If you can, play it with JP voices, they give the game a outstanding quality and some voices are well versed VAs: Dingo Egret = Kakashi (Naruto), Dragon (One Piece), Gildarts (Fairy Tail) Ken Marinaris = Yoruichi (Bleach), Kagome (Inuyasha), Koala (One Piece), Rafaela (Claymore) Leo Stenb…
Probably the best Mecha game regarding its gameplay (and I played a lot of them...) Most shooters / shmup didnt do the transitoon to 3D very well. Z.O.E did.
played this masterpiece again with High End VR headset bigscren beyond 2 i feel like an old kid now... honestly its not as bad as i thought.. everything works fine... except wierd Geometry in VR, the scale and proportion looks off.. but its playable.. performance is a bit of let down, cant get away with 90hz reprojection even when i turned it off on setting.. gameplay in VR might not be as authentic experience, but its still a fun and different way to play. if u can withstand motion sickness more.. i recommend normal difficulty i guess? but i just want to enjoy the story again in VR so i choose EASY.. overall its worth it to play again in VR, esspecially when u never played it in PSVR before.. 8/10
