Monster Prom 3: Monster Roadtrip

I was a big fan of the original game and had my eyes on the sequels for a while now, which made it all the more disappointing with what met me. In the first Monster Prom, even if a joke didn't land, each one was quick and the next joke was on you immediately not giving you a chance to dwell on it, and as such the energy was high and it felt very funny. Sadly none of that exists in this game. Every joke feels like a slog with how unfunny they are, several times the jokes were blatantly explained to me, and in general it felt like the game was trying to become a more serious addition to the series while trying to stay a quirky and funny game, and failing at both horribly. If you were a fan of the first game and want more of that, don't get this one. Instead get the forth one, that also has 'some' problems, but is a much better return to from.

this game has made me feel suicidal both in game and at an event I ran based off of it, 10/10 i love it and i'll probably put another 100 hours into it

This was a fun little game for my wife and I to play together. It's funny and relatively short so neither of us got bored. My wife already wants to play another round.

you can still date Zoe and Vera and Ravi so it good EDIT: I did End of The Road and Polly is now in my S tier too...

All the loveable characters and sick art from the first two games, plus SO much more! The resource balancing mechanics really up the difficulty of the game, but that makes it all the more satisfying when you achieve a sick ending! So many options for everything and it's nice that there's technically no "wrong" answer, as you'll always gain something. It's just about keeping the balance so you can reach that sweet roadtrip destination. Love being able to choose which kind of background music you can play with, and all the choices are bangin'. Every new stop along with the way is full of interesting scenarios and choices. This game has so much playability, I can't wait to play with friends and learn how multiplayer spices things up! So much love for the Monster Prom franchise. As always, we were young and unafraid...and we were ready to start!
