About Neon Warp

Neon Warp is a simple yet very unique puzzle game.

On each level there are blocks of 3 colors. When you move the frame from a block of one color to a block of another a third color appears.

Using this technique your goal is to repaint all blocks into a single color and you need to do it with least amount of turns.

I tiled until 3 a.m., brain melted into coolant. Beat a level blindfolded because my retinas became disco lights. Now I spot geometry in soup. Best Monday eraser ever. Ten neon flashes out of ten, grab it and glitch happily!

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…

Neon Warp, developed and published by Axel Sonic, is a minimalist puzzle game that takes a deceptively simple concept and expands it into a meditative test of logic and patience. At first glance, it looks straightforward: you move a cursor or marker across a grid of colored tiles, with the goal of transforming the entire board into one unified color. The mechanic that drives the experience is both intuitive and abstract—each time you move from one color to another, the tile you enter changes based on the interaction between the two. What begins as a series of small, clear puzzles quickly evolves into intricate patterns of logic that challenge your ability to think several steps ahead. Neon Warp isn’t just about solving puzzles; it’s about understanding the system beneath them. Every move matters, and every decision can either bring you closer to harmony or unravel your progress entirely. From the start, the game’s visual presentation sets a distinctive tone. True to its name, Neon Warp bathes its puzzles in glowing hues of blue, green, and violet, each transition punctuated by a brief, smooth animation that feels pleasingly tactile despite the simplicity of the art. The neon aesth…
