NEON (2026)

The game looks pretty nice and I actually enjoyed the atmosphere at first, but the gameplay has too many issues for me to recommend it. The enemy AI is really bad, and I encountered NPCs shooting through walls. There are also way too many jumpscares, to the point where they became annoying rather than scary. I eventually got softlocked and couldn't continue, which was the point where I stopped playing. I'm playing on Linux through Proton-GE, so some issues could potentially be Linux-specific, but the wall-shooting and softlock feel like game-side problems. The presentation is probably the strongest part of the game, but the bugs and gameplay issues made me give up before finishing it. Moral of the story: Don't bother buying it

So many bugs and broken mechanics.... You can crouch and avoid every enemy in the game from being able to hit you. Funny how the npcs will be walking but the cycle resets as they are falling and are only kept up because it resets them before it occurs so you just see enemies slide walking falling forward glitching back upright before have way to the ground and act like nothing happened as they shoot at you but if you stay ducked they can only shoot over you. Not sure why someone would release their first game like this when most would create a few private projects before releasing anything. They sounded like they enjoyed making it from the random Voice Lines you will come across but that is the extent of the effort noticeable as the rest seems to have been left in a broken state. Only reason game got as much attention as it did was due to the -The Great Logna Crashout- Video and how Vizimos covered the incident on Youtube Titled "When an Indie Developer SNAPS on his Players" which accumulated 143k videos within the first month and the videos covering -Garten of BanBan- "for some reason if you talk about Garten of BanBan you get lots of views on youtube" which drew interest to this …

For a guy who blew up criticizing Banban you unfortunate did not take any of that criticism to heart or even understand the design principles that the game it is inspired from was designed under. The puzzles using the main reoccurring elements never try to use them in unique ways or to create interesting and challenging puzzles. Most of the challenge of the puzzles were from instructions being unclear, or the gameplay being flawed. Take one puzzle late in the game where a platforms falls off making it seemingly impossible to return the way you came with both items (you can only pick up 1 item at a time). The solution is that the platform that fell isn't even needed to cross the gap as you can jump onto the other one. That is not always obvious and didn't feel clever at all. Then we have puzzles of a completely different style which have nothing to do with traditional reoccurring elements and they are somehow less balanced. One puzzle requires you to use a decoder to get a code to open a door. It shows two methods one for letters and one for numbers and there is a visible piece to decode that you are likely to see on the wall next to the exit door. That one is for an easter egg or …

genuinely horrible

This game presents and exciting and new take on puzzle games in general. The game looks like it was made from a place of love and was very affordable for the quality content you were getting in the game. Honestly, you could tell the developer spent a lot of time on this game and that his hardwork has paid off. The easter eggs in this game have a VERY notable character who does a commercial. PLAY THIS GAME AT ALL COSTS :).......also p.s. love your content:) 10/10.
