Adventures of Bertram Fiddle 2: A Bleaker Predicklement

While playing episode 1 I did not feel I'd recommend it. The store-page calls it a "classic point and click adventure game" but it's so easy that a puzzle component is more or less absent. Not very classic. I then however played episode 2 (as realistically most anyone would) and that is in fact a bona fide classic point and click adventure game. With both episodes taken together genre-fans will find quite enough to like here.

Hi, Please make a 3rd one. Since playing this my life hasn't been the same. Ok, bye.

This one was a big improvement over the first game. More challanging puzzles and more depth than the first one. A good conclusion to the journey that started in the first game.

Amusing, but be forewarned that there are a LOT of bugs. Honestly, if I didn't enjoy the previous one so much I would probably slide more towards not recommending it. It's playable, but there are some major issues with animation. Characters talk but their mouths either stop moving or fail to move at all. Some scenes just don't change to follow the sound. The tea drinking achievement just plain failed to register, literally going from 3/5 randomly down to 1/5 during a single playthrough. It was actually my second time because I was specifically going for completion. No point after that, really. Still, if you catch it on sale like I did, it's worth following the story. I would definitely not pay full price though.

It's a short game, I recommend getting both games because you need them both to finish the full adventure. The art style and the humour are great if you enjoy dry humour and puns. The puzzles were very easy and it's a short game which is honestly perfect if you want an afternoon that will relax you but won't suck you into something that will make you feel like you're ruining your life.

Great game, much longer than the 1st game. Some good puzzles, engaging plot. Recommended! Even more when you've played the first game.
