Skill Master VR -- Learn Meditation

This game has nothing to do with "learning" meditation. I will explain simply what this game does. 1. You pick a location 2. You hold the controller to your chest and a big floating ball floats in front of you inflating and deflating as you breath That is all this game does. No voice explaning any exercises or anything Should be reported to be honest for naming the game "Learn meditation"

This concept has potential, but it is nowhere near the $15 price tag on it. A dollar at best as it is. 1. I could not focus on my breath while I was so intently focused on why the orb did not match my breathing very well. It was clunky and unresponsive. I would recommend to the developer that you have the orb begin enlargening continually the moment breath inward is noticed rather than requiring continual breath in to continue enlargening. Few people are going to simply hold their breath so a smooth motion outward with assumption of still breathing in would be far more relaxing. Same with the out breathing: keep shrinking until noticing the inward breath. As it is, it is very distracting rather than relaxing. 2. Scenery is way too simplistic like staring at at jpg on my monitor. 3. The sound of waves is far too gimmicky of a relaxation sound. 4. The entire feel is too Windows 3.0 to really relax at all. I can see potential with an update in graphics, music, and breath matching. Until then, absolutely not worth the price.

Simple and fun app to practice breathing and mindfulness. Uses the hardware of the Vive in a clever way because you hold up the controller to your chest while breathing in and out--it seems to be pretty accurate. There are many great apps for the Vive that will make you "feel like you're really there." This one is different in that it just works to make you feel present.

Great start to a meditation app. I definitely liked how I could choose different settings, and that all of the meditation was guided. Looking forward to the next updates!
