About By Any Means Necessary

During the first world war, a mysterious portal appeared at the top of the mountain of Rondo. Monsters were crawled out of this portal and started attacking all the humans, from all nations. The nations put aside their differences and entered a covenant, with the hope of finding and destroying the source of this portal.

Captain Yusef Athros, from the Sylon empire, has been exploring the Castian Sea, and has just received an order to head to Lavinan Island. What will captain Yusef find in this island?

Developed and published by Sure Games, By Any Means Necessary is a turn-based role-playing game that embraces the spirit of classic RPGs while introducing several mechanics that encourage a more strategic approach to combat. The story begins after the sudden appearance of a mysterious portal that releases monsters across the world, pushing long-standing rival nations into an uneasy alliance. Players take control of Captain Yusef Athros of the Sylon Empire, who is dispatched to Lavinan Island to investigate the growing crisis. While the narrative follows a familiar fantasy formula of uncovering the source of an otherworldly threat, it provides enough intrigue and world-building to motivate exploration and carry players through the adventure. Combat is where the game establishes its identity. Instead of allowing players to rely on healing items or restorative consumables during battles, it forces them to think carefully about every action. Success depends on understanding party abilities, managing resources efficiently, and making smart tactical decisions rather than simply recovering health whenever things become difficult. This design choice makes even routine encounters feel more…
