Cortex (RewindApp)

Cortex is a minimalist puzzle experience developed and published by RewindApp that takes a familiar concept and builds an increasingly demanding challenge around it. The game does not rely on flashy presentation, cinematic storytelling, or elaborate progression systems. Instead, it focuses entirely on testing logic, planning, and problem-solving ability through a straightforward design philosophy that values clarity and mental engagement above everything else. Its simplicity becomes both its defining strength and its greatest source of challenge. The gameplay revolves around connecting matching colored nodes across puzzle grids while respecting movement limitations and available space. At first, the objectives appear almost deceptively easy. Early levels introduce mechanics gently, allowing players to understand the rules without pressure. you can never reach level 200, there is a bug

quite funny "path tracing" logical game for several minutes of play, however clearly not worth more than a dozen of eurocents

Not a bad game in theory, however it is littered with bugs and was just not developed that well. After level 100 the games level select screen breaks and will only display the first 23 levels, not allowing for any more progression. And some features, such as the music, were left out entirely.
