Railroad Tycoon 3

I had this game on my old CDROM pc either using window 2000 or ME` for the game to be available on steam, but the challenge is steam no longer supports old operating systems and the game has not been made in a playable state by the developer/ so if i want to play this game, i either need to use my old pc going back to windows xp and looking for the CD rom to run this game everytime i want to play it. if you can find a way of operating this game on a modern pc, you might have hours on enjoyment, but not getting past the main menu

One of the all time greatest games, although clearly inferior to it's predecessor. While I recommend the game, I don't recommend that you buy it on Steam, as it's not a patched version that will run without some tinkering. Get it on GOG instead, which is the patched 1.05 release, which you can immediately upgrade to 1.06 with just one additional download. The method of patching the game described in the Steam guides is no longer viable, the website that they all depend on has gone dark.

a good chanllenging strategy game. Trying different approaches give you different outcomes. I like this game.

I played the CD-ROM version of this game a lot when I was a kid. As an adult, I bought the "Coast to Coast" expansion pack on Steam and rediscovered my love for Railroad Tycoon 3 all over again. The gameplay has never been better!
