Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition

This game was garbage. Good they mentioned who gave them the awards. Now we know that: Destructoid WCCFTech God is geek Xbox tavern Shack news TheXboxHub Hobby consalos Noisy pixel NYX Game Awards ...are full of sh*t. No way they rated it this high unless Oddworld paid them money to say that. I will never trust their rating again. Oddworld used to make great games like Abe's Oddyssee and Exodus. But after that, the quality went trash.

i Love Oddworld since it came out on ps1. but this crap sucks. too much back tracking in the mines. ive been trying to get passed the mines for 3 years and still cant. i hate this game and i give it 0 stars. u all destroyed oddworld

Despite its modern presentation, Soulstorm retains the exact design philosophy that made me abandon New ’n’ Tasty. Every section demands extremely precise positioning, timing, and memorization from the last checkpoint, while a single mistake forces the entire sequence to be repeated. Instead of rewarding understanding or improvisation, the game expects near-perfect execution of one specific solution. Fans may enjoy mastering this rigid trial-and-error structure, but I found it consistently frustrating and unpleasant. Abandoned during the first level after 40 minutes

As a fan of the Oddworld series, I unfortunately can't recommend this, purely due to in-game glitches that cause the player not to be able to progress. It's a puzzle-based game, so it's natural to explore every avenue, but when you can't progress past a level because: - a bridge doesn't show up that's supposed to be there - one of the allies you're supposed to be collecting is bugged and appears to be in a wall and can't follow you It's beyond frustrating. Save your time.

In a ruined, devastated world, a captured species must be saved before extinction. Abe embarks on a cinematic adventure to rescue all his friends. The controls are absurd, the story involves outsmarting enemies and outsmarting them through various puzzles or cunning tricks. It has a beautiful world that never gets boring. Needless to say, it's inspired by the Metroid series.

Muy lindo el juego y todo... pero lleno de bugs y no pude terminar el juego. Uno pensaria que una version ENHANCED deberia estar mas pulida, pero como no soy desarrollador de juegos, no opino.
