despite its rough development history and now being abandoned by the devs, tcm introduced a very unique spin on the asym horror game genre! play surv OR killer with your friends in a 3 killers vs 4 survivor format. this alone makes it a fun party experience along with friends. both sides have a skill tree, unlockable perks and a satisfying progression system if youre into that, however these can take a backseat and you wont really be missing much from the core gameplay loop/experience - unlike competitor games, where if you dont have the most meta builds youre at a much bigger disadvantage. in this way, tcm is a lot less competitive and easier to get into and much more casual friendly. x2 XP has been permanently enabled, which from my experience has made a boom in playerbase, as all queue times are not long at all and usually 1-5 mins long, even at 3am in the morning, so finding games is still very quick and easy even as the game nears the end of lifespan. if you want a fun party pvp horror asym experience, id recommend tcm as it has provided many thrills, scares and good memories for me over the years, and queue times are still fast!

This was the best asym to ever exist. From the graphics, mechanics and the game play loop that gives you alot of diversity, it is truly such a shame that it was GUN that made this amazing game, and that they gave up on it to go co-publish a ♥♥♥♥ game with illphonics that's gonna die just as fast as KKFOS did. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING TO DO WITH GUN INTERACTIVE!! They have to know they are messing up, and putting more money in their pockets is never going to work. The guy running the game claims they gave up for "employee wellbeing" like that wasn't the biggest crock of bs any of us has heard. How about making good decisions on keeping a live service game alive and maybe their "wellbeing" wouldn't be in question. How about dedicating a small team to keep up with the only game you have had to do with that was good. Absolute disgrace to everything gaming and asym horror. This game didn't deserve any of those terrible decisions GUN made. I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR ON A GUN INTERACTIVE GAME AND I RECOMEND ANYONE READING THIS NOT TO AS WELL!!
