Mystwood Manor

I finished the entire game and collected all achievements, so I think I've seen pretty much everything it has to offer. Despite the explicit content, I wouldn't really describe Mystwood Manor as a game you play primarily for that. Those scenes aren't the main part of the gameplay, and frankly, their quality isn't particularly impressive either. The actual game is much more about managing the hotel. The management system itself has some interesting ideas. Each girl has three different skills, so you need to decide where to assign them. Guests have different requirements for morning, afternoon, and evening, and each location has its own small minigame. A guest might ask for a drink containing vodka, for example, and you have to pick the correct option out of three. Unfortunately, these minigames become repetitive and boring pretty quickly. Guest satisfaction also feels surprisingly limited in terms of what you can actually influence. There are tarot cards you can assign to the girls, which ties into the game's mystical storyline, but mechanically the whole system felt a bit disconnected and underdeveloped. A wasted opportunity. I expected a mystery with light business management and a touch of mysticism. Instead, I got repetitive gameplay, endless unnecessary clicking, shallow characters, meaningless choices, forced interactions, and a soundtrack that repeats far too often. Nothing you do feels important, and by the end, the game feels more like a chore than entertainment.

This is an odd one. It's not a standard AVN/porn game. First it's a Hotel Management game. I found this quite annoying at first but it slowly grew on me and I got hooked on unlocking everything and completing all the guests stories. Second it's a mystery. I found this lots of fun and again got hooked on completing it. Finally, after quite a bit of hard work, comes the sexy bits. A nice selection of ladies with well rendered scenes. It took me 224 days of game play to finish, I'll probably replay and see if I can complete it quicker and pick up a couple of things I missed. Negative things about it: it is a bit grindy, it takes a long time to get to the naughty bits, it isn't very intuitive - you will probably need some help finding what to do next - the link to Discord which is supposed to answer everything didn't work for me, It probably doesn't have a lot of re-playability. It's OK if you are into trying to run a hotel with minimal workers who never have enough energy to work. Story mode gave an idea of how things should work. But not really into this. Maybe I will come back some other time when there is a decent guide to help me play the game. Mejoress claims to have a guide, but it is rather a guide to tell you what you need and not really a step by step instructions to play the game.
