■■ Story ■■
You were at the brilliant performance of top idol Ruri Tsukuyomi, and in the next moment, you awaken in an unfamiliar land.There, someone extends a hand to you. Akari Sunohara, a girl who loves idols with all her heart.
And then there's the unfortunate truth revealed by the flower fairy, Moku-san. This is a place called the Void, a space between worlds, and there is currently no way to return to your original world.
The only hope lies in the idol potential dormant within Akari. Idols are special beings who can connect the different worlds and become a light for those sinking into despair. You'll need to help Akari shine if you have any hope of returning home to your original world.
And, with your own two hands, build the ultimate fan sanctuary in this void between worlds!

● Protagonist (You)You’re the one who was transported to the Void alongside Akari. As the central figure in this world, your role is to support Akari and the other idols on their journey.

An ordinary girl with an extraordinary love for idols. She possesses the innate potential to become one herself, and must step into the spotlight to find a way home.
At first, she struggles with doubt and frustration, but grows through her encounters with veteran idols and her fans in the fantasy worlds.

The Ultimate Idol, reigning at the top with an overwhelming presence and voice. Her legacy echoes throughout the various fantasy worlds Akari explores.

The idol of Karan Ashihara, a world with a traditional Japanese aesthetic. As the wild and fearsome Behemoth of Befoulment, she stands in Akari’s path as a powerful rival.

A city builder with anime girls sounded right up my alley so I thought why not. It's a bit rough around the edges but tbh I'm having a blast. Pros: - Good time killer for the price - The pixel art is cute and watching the little characters run around the map and make me money is addictive - Filling out the map with buildings feels super satisfying - Achievement hunting is fun, I think I might actually 100% the game soon - Surprisingly good voice acting and the music slaps - I'm obsessed with Moku-san Cons: - Using letters instead of arrows for the concert mini game is a diabolical design choice - The mini-game music gets repetitive after a while, could use a few more tracks4 found this helpful
Because of the issues I experienced, I can't recommend this game or not. Some of the missions were kind of unclear to me, so I often got stuck. Even though I had already done the correct actions, I still couldn’t progress to the next part, which was pretty frustrating. There were also several bugs that affected my progress. For example, even when resource buildings were placed correctly and the roads were connected, villagers sometimes couldn’t reach the buildings. Because of that, I had to relocate them multiple times. - Another issue was the support character UI. Sometimes it still appeared during rhythm performances and covered the buttons. The control layout also felt a bit awkward, using WASD with IJKL. I think this layout works better on a controller ← ↑ → ↓ and ☐△◯×, but for PC players, it would feel more natural to use something like WASD and the ← ↑ → ↓ arrow keys instead. - I also noticed some inconsistencies during story scenes. Sometimes, the background did not change properly. I clearly remember that during my first time watching the story where the player meets Lynalelle, the background was set in the city. I'm still early in the game, but I feel like this game has a lot of potential, and I'm hopeful the developers will iron out some of the kinks. One concern I had was if you stray from the tutorial objectives, I think the game gets "confused"...? I ended up focusing mostly on the city-building aspect for the time I've played so far, but there is definitely a learning curve for it. The controls aren't super intuitive either compared to other games in the genre, and so I hoping that they'll implement right-click-to-drag-screen or Esc to exit/cancel. The rhythm game section in particular could use a rehaul... But!! For the positives: - The scenario is almost fully voiced from what I can tell? - The songs and music are alright for an indie title. - The art is pretty good considering it's an indie game, both for the pixel art and the character illustrations. - The story fits the setting, and it doesn't take itself too seriously? The townsfolk commentary is so cute. And since I think the game was originally in Japanese, the English translation(?) is pretty good too1 found this helpful
Ok first and foremost, the girls are all really cute. I'm in love with all of them. Overall the artwork is really nice. There's some pretty illustrations in the story, and I'm a big fan of the pixel art style. The pixel style with the city-builder gameplay made me feel like a kid playing sim city again. From the store page pics I was expecting a rhythm game more like Colorful Stage, but it turns out the city-builder part is the focus and the concerts (the rhythm game parts) are more of a side thing. The rhythm game part is a little awkward with the keys, but you can use resources from your city to make those parts easier, so it's not a huge deal. I like having different types of gameplay to mix things up anyway. My favorite part is the story. I wasn't expecting to like it so much but it's really creative. It's self-aware and the humor is solid. I'm excited to see where it goes!1 found this helpful
Tl:dr: An idol city builder simp bait done right Okay, I usually stick to better known stuff, but my friend convinced me to try this and now I'm h o o k e d. If you like optimization and resource management, this is a solid sleeper hit. If you like kawaii anime girls, you're already downloading it. 10/10 would build a global idol empire again. Adorable, quirky, and addictive! I wasn't sure what to expect with the different mechanics but I LOVE the city builder aspect!! It's surprisingly deep and satisfying. The story is also really unique, somehow blending idol, isekai, and fantasy?? I was shocked by the combination but it's super fun and engaging. It's also pretty funny, especially the little comments from your townsfolk make me giggle. I love the art and designs of the characters, too, in particular the lovely idol girls. Their range of expressions is super cute, I especially love Akari's face when she gets excited! I can't wait to unlock more of them. All the nods to idol culture are also great. If I had one request, it would be to add more aesthetic options for the town, like trees and shrubs, unless I just haven't unlocked them yet? I want to make my town even cuter!
