Really fun

At the time of reviewing I have only played the intern (normal) mode, so I can't speak for the other gamemode(s). But this works as a quick overview for what you can expect out of this game. It's a great game! The Art and style work really well, and the mid-game pallete changes work [b]incredibly[/b] well. The music is great and the sound design is superb. I do have a few gripes with the game though, for example: I think the game would benefit from having a few more invincibility frames after taking damage. But what really irritates me is that you automatically stop firing bullets for a short period after taking damage. The gameplay shines best during boss fights, I had the most fun during the final boss. While the main sections are fun, sometimes it feels like they drag on a little too long. There's a large selection of weapons in the game, most of them have good use cases but a there's a handful that serve very little utility. But there's enough variety with the useful weapons for the game to stay entertaining. Overall, I reccomend the game despite its few shortcomings. It's fun!

It's a fun little game. Though I think it would benefit from the roguelike treatment. Not that all games do. This one feels like it would shine in that format.

It's a fun distraction.
