i just recently had a vasectomy and lobotomy, then i played this game and realized that its not so bad after all. i would like to thank my best friend for this masterpiece of a game, even if i didnt finish it. even if the graphics are ass, even if its unforgiving, i think the gameplay loop is interesting enough for many people to try it out, even if its quiche. 9/10

There is an enemy that sets fire traps, do you counter by backing off and trying to maneuver around them? No, there are torches on the wall that set you on fire anyways There is an enemy that frequently attacks with large AOE attacks, do you counter it by using stunning attacks? No, this specific enemy and only this enemy can still attack even when stunned. You get hit anyways There is an enemy that rapidly fires projectiles in a straight line, do you counter by approaching while keeping to it's flank? No, it suddenly start firing projectiles in a ring around itself. You get hit anyways. You randomly find a shield, do you use it try as a shield? No, You cannot use the shield with any other weapon. Oh, and the shield does not block damage, it's a copy of the sword weapon but worse. Do you just try to mind your own business and find items? Of course not, spiders can randomly lunge at you from across the map, slimes can shoot the floor out from under you (this instantly kills you), the floor can also suddenly break from under your feet because you didn't notice that the specific tile you stepped on had some dirt on it (the choreograph for fragile glass is dirt, not splinters or cracks…

Very solid game that feels like every single aspect of it is handmade, for better or worse. I managed to beat the first boss and I think I am satisfied with that level of progression since this game is surprisingly hard. I very rarely die to enemies. Most of the deaths I have is from spikes or from falling into the void or boss arena immediately. The textures on the spiked walls and breakable floor indicators do not make it easy to spot, even when I take the time to play slowly. I am sure there is a way to consistently get really strong in this game and it might have really cool tech and such, but nevertheless, I had my fun and I may or may not replay this game and see if I can beat it fully or at least reach the final boss.

A one of a kind game with endless experimentation. No matter how much you think you know there's always something new to learn. Each item opens up possibilities to speed up your progression. Great game 10/10 watch out for torches

Oneiro is one of the most unique games concept and story wise that I personally have played in a long while. Gameplay is the perfect balance of challenging with enough reward to keep the player motivated to move forward. There's tons of different gear options so no two runs will ever be the same. Can't recommend the game enough.

Best roguelike I've ever played. Seeing is a skill you develop. Learn more, be smarter, faster, safer. It took me so long to beat it but I finally did it. I can't recommend this enough and it is my go-to example, right alongside Pseudoregalia, of why $70+ games are a scam, and fancy graphics are always bad. The game looks just fine, the ost is awesome, and seriously, one of my favorite games of all time. In my top 10 for sure. People talk about how soulslikes feel good to beat, but really, beating this might be the best I've ever felt about beating a game.
