you have to be pretty depressed to play this game

The story, altough quite cliché on some aspect, is the main strong point of this game and I can tell that it was made with a strong vision and passion. But the gameplay is really boring : moovements feels unresponsive and locked behind it's animations. the enemies are boring too with very few exceptions for late bosses. The level design is absurdly repetitive in many ways. If your going in, my suggestion would be to set the game on easy and just dash trough the levels to get to the good part : the story.

This game leaves you feeling hollow after finishing it the combat is very barebones one of those that makes you think oh it's stiff now it'll probably get better later and then never does. There's maybe 7 different enemies I hope you like the different colored variations of the same enemies. The story and writing is laughably bad there is one good character and her name rhymes with Ken. If you do decide to torture yourself with this just play on easy. Difficulty only increases the tedium nothing else changes. Equipment boils down to very basic mechanics there are gacha rolls but in the grand scheme of things never really matters. There's maybe 2 bosses I'd classify as being semi-interesting but when the whole game feels like it's hollowing out your soul to make it to the end it's not even worth it. Don't be fooled by the art.

Would be perfect as a visual novel, there is no challenge in the combat and the level design is repetitive. Everything else is great though.

Just finished the game after 91 hours maxing just about everything out. Pros: *Nice Voice work. Everything being voiced is rare these days. * Fun Story even if it takes awhile to get going. *Auto potions during combat. If you get low on HP to a death blow it will auto use an HP potion during combat. *Interactions between the girls are funny and original. *Glossary - Takes awhile to fill out but reading through them is very interesting. Lots of tragedy in there and attention to detail. Got to kill it 3x for full unlock. *Quick load screens / levels. Definitely a major positive here. * DID NOT ENCOUNTER ANY BUGS OR CRASHES. Cons: * Game Mechanics isn't really well explained, despite a long list in the "help" section. Example: You can see a XP amount in status to level for your character... but how much do you get per kill? No idea, the number you see is for currency, not xp. There is no way to tell. *Damage is low and takes forever to kill stuff. Heavy attacks are mostly worthless due to taking longer, easier to spam quick attack. * The Crafting system.
