Escape a chaotic clinic while managing your fractured mind in this absurd psychological thriller that blends stealth, speed, and memory challenges into a delightfully confusing nightmare. DEDstress throws ridiculous obstacles and cryptic characters at you across 4-8 hours of high-stress gameplay, with an infinite arcade mode for those who crave more mayhem.
Daniel Vleisman is diagnosed with Disconnected Electricity Disorder, after being traumatized by constant power outages.
He wakes up in Slashbin Clinic, disoriented and with voices in his head.
He will need to maintain focus while being hunted down, using speed and stealth to make his way to freedom.
DEDstress is an absurd and comedic, high-intensity thriller, made by an indie team of two brothers.
The game's stressful conditions will put your memory and wits to the test.
DEDstress is based on the 3-day game jam DIDstress, made by the same team.
It should take an average of 4 to 8 hours to complete DEDstress on normal difficulty, depending on playstyle and skill level.
There is also a fast-paced infinite arcade mode as an added bonus.
This game is supposed to be weird and confusing.
So if you don't fully understand what a character is saying, that is part of the experience.

DEDstress is a special game. There may be games out there similar to it, but this one is incredibly unique. You begin not really knowing what to do but with an over-arching objective to get the heck out of this clinic you're stuck in, and from there, all kinds of hilarity, horror, and fun ensue. The game keeps players on their toes by varying the gameplay constantly. Puzzles and scenarios test out anything from a player's speed, perception, or mastery of the game mechanics. The care placed into the various aspects of the game by this small Indie development studio really shows as you run around the game trying to get out. The game punches above it's weight given it's price.3 found this helpful

I will be honest, was a bit unsure how this game would go over...but overall I really enjoyed it. The game knows what it is and executes it well. Its absurd, its out there, its creepy....its great. Def worth checking out and getting lost in all of the "WTF" moments that this game has!
