Clash: Artifacts of Chaos

This is such a great game. TLDR: it has great gameplay mechanics, spectacular character and world design, wonderful voice acting, and a narrative that ranges from goofy to heartwarming to enriching. The combat mechanics rely heavily on your fighting stances and special moves, of which you will unlock several of both throughout your playthrough, allowing you to experiment with different movesets to find a style that flows with you. That said, you also encounter some weapons (that will break after repeated use) which can be helpful for tougher enemies and bosses. The entire ritual mechanic is unique and ties in completely with the story, adding a compelling component that weaves gameplay with narrative artistically. Having a night/dreamwalking version of Pseudo was such an interesting concept to me as well, and fit in with everything else seamlessly. That provides you with a lot more to do in terms of just having different enemies to fight, unique ways to unlock new areas, and finding unique pieces of armor for the night variant. whoever decided there should be no map or instructions or items info in shop, why dude, why?

Art looks cool. Motions are clunky at times. Zero guidance so you wander around small maps hoping to find anything to get to a new location. Pathetic stat increases (like .01, no joke). Inadequate tutorial. No explanations for how to even drink a potion. Poorly made good looking game.

i really love the story of this game

Interesting. Both gameplay and story flows really well. Performance is good. Some bugs where I got stuck on ledges and fell of world.. Fresh vibe and visual art. If you remotely like souls games - but don’t like the unforgiving punishment of not dodging in time, this is for you.
